Our first-ever Show Choir Camp was held the week of August 4, 2008. We worked really hard but also had some fun. Twenty students showed up (well, most days, anyway). We got to know one another and started working on music for next year. We also had dance class every morning and LOTS of FUN with music theory and beginning sight singing. The week ended with performances by several students for the group. Especially notable was Greg, Sierra, Amanda and Hanna's song and dance number! I hope to see that one again on the next Performance Day.
Thanks to all for hanging in there. You guys far exceeded my expectations and I really think we have a great head start for the new school year. And a very special thanks to Mrs. Nikki Ross (Sierra's Mom) for leading the dance class and choreographing "Lullaby of Broadway."
