Show Choir Camp Next Week!

Well, August will be here in a few days, and you know what that means...
SHOW CHOIR CAMP!

Here are the details:

• Monday - Wednesday we will meet from 10 am to 2 pm with 45 minutes for lunch.  Click on the tab above for a detailed schedule -- subject to change, of course!
• On Thursday we will meet up with our rides around 7:15 am and leave NO LATER THAN 7:30 am for Veteran's Memorial in Columbus for the John Jacobsen Workshop.  Be sure to wear clothes you don't mind dancing (and sweating) in and comfortable shoes.  Lunch is provided as part of the workshop, but we will go out to dinner before we leave Columbus, so bring cash for that.  We'll decide where (majority rules) on Monday. If you haven't paid your workshop dues ($40), please bring cash or a check made out to the UMA with you on Monday.
• Tshirts may be in by Thursday, but I doubt it since most of you took your time getting me the money and some still haven't paid.  Please bring your $15 on Monday in cash or in a check made out to Unioto High School.  Note the tshirt design winner at right. No one else had any ideas about colors, so I took Hanna's suggestion that we get out of the gold-and-purple and go for light gray with purple letters.  I think it looks pretty cool.
• No camp on Friday, but I would like for those of you who can to come in an help me build some new boxes for next year.  I want to build several that fit inside one another with handles so they can be easily moved on stage.  We'll talk about that too on Monday.

Remember, if you are going to be in Show Choir next year, you must attend camp EVERY DAY! If you are ill or think you have a good reason not to make it, you better ask me BEFORE camp starts because I am really enforcing it this year.  So prove to me and your colleagues that you are COMMITTED to the group and we will reach new heights this year!
