Kudos to Kids in Oliver!

Last weekend I was priviledged to direct several Unioto kids in the Chillicothe Civic Theatre's production of Oliver! by Lionel Bart at the Majestic Theatre:

• Jansen Wilhelm, a 6th grader at Unioto, did a wonderful job in the title role. Wow! See and hear Jansen online at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bCJcR_4BlJw.
• Fagin's Gang of Thieves included Vivian Snyder (yes, she's mine), Abby Fisk and Logan and Lauren Betz from the elementary..

• Katie McMahon (UHS Rhapsody and Concert Choir) played Charlotte Sowerberry.
• UHS Alum Ben Roark (Rhapsody, Class of 2012) played Noah Claypole.
• UHS Alum Haley Gray (Rhapsody, Class of 2012) was in the chorus and choreographed "Oom-pah-pah."
• UHS Senior Randa Rossman (Rhapsody, Concert Choir) was the Stage Manager.
• UHS Alum Corey Tackett (Rhapsody, Class of 2011) was on set crew.
• UHS Alum Brie Lovensheimer (Rhapsody, Marching Shermans, Class of 2011) played clarinet in the orchestra.
