Well, I didn't do so a great job of posting on my blog last year, but I am determined to turn over a new leaf for the coming year! It will be my third year at Unioto, and I am so grateful to all of the wonderful students that have made me feel welcome and appreciated.As we bask (or is that sweat?) in the heat of summer, I am preparing for the coming year. We have another very full schedule, with a children's play in October, the Madrigal Feast in December, Unioto Pops in late February, the spring musical (Oklahoma!) in April and our final concert and graduation in May. The exact dates will be posted to the calendar in the next few days.
We will be going to Kings Island this year -- I will be reviewing dates at the UMA Choral meeting next Monday and then registering us for the event later in the week. In addition, I am going to be scheduling a car wash later this month -- will post that info as soon as I have it.

- Jon Jacobsen Show Choir Clinic - Friday, August 7th from 9 am to 4 pm at Stantons Sheet Music in Columbus ($40 fee includes lunch). Go to http://www.stantons.com/clinics/ to register
- Show Choir Camp - Monday, August 10 through Friday, August 14 from 9 am to 12 noon
