Show Choir Camp is scheduled for the first week of August this year. We will meet in the High School Choir Room from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and will spend the entire day on Thursday at Veteran's Memorial in Columbus at the John Jacobson Workshop.
Information about Camp, t-shirt order forms and registration forms for John's workshop are being sent to Show Choir students today. There is a $40 fee for the Workshop which is due the first day of camp or students can register online to pay by credit card at https://secure.stantons.com/clinics/#john-jacobson-workshop-new-attendee. T-shirts are $12 this year, and don't forget to vote for your favorite design on the order form! If you need financial aid for the Workshop or your t-shirt, please call Ms. Snyder as soon as possible. As always, all applications for financial aid are confidential.
At camp, we will be getting an early start on music for the Madrigal Feaste, the Pops Concert and other events. Repertoire lists are being posted during the next 4-6 weeks -- see the "Repertoire" tab above to check it out.
Please remember that Show Choir Camp is mandatory for students in Show Choir during the 2011-2012 school year. If you have a conflict due to family vacation or other obligation, please call Ms. Snyder NOW! Students who have a summer job must arrange to be off work to attend Camp -- no exceptions. Show Choir students who do not attend camp and are not excused by Ms. Snyder have to drop Show Choir from their schedule next year!
